Annunciation's Pastor is Fr. Stephen Hellman. Born and raised in Chicago, Father Hellman studied at Georgetown University, where he received a Bachelor’s in Philosophy in 1986. After a
career in business Fr Hellman discerned a call to the priesthood.
After completing pre-Theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary in
St. Benedict, Louisiana and a Master's of Divinity (M.Div.) degree
at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Fr. Hellman was
ordained a priest at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile, Alabama at the Vigil Mass of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity on June 2, 2012.
Annunciation's Housekeeper is MarQuita Johnson.
"I am married with three wonderful children. I was born in Toledo, Ohio but was raised in Frisco City, Alabama. I graduated from Frisco City High School in 2003. I am truly thankful for my Lord and Savior for He has blessed me more than I can ever thank Him for. I love being a mother, wife, singing, doing hair and make-up. God Bless!"
Annunciation's Secretary is Lorraine Wicker.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Lorraine recently retired from Trustmark Bank. Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, and knitting, and she enjoys spending time with family and especially watching her grandchildren play baseball, soccer, and football.
Annunciation's Organist is Paula Pierre. Paula grew up in Gautier, Mississippi and has lived in Alabama since 1984. She is married with two sons and has an Associate Degree in Accounting and studied music education at the University of South Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and has been a professional musician since the age of 19. Paula enjoys reading, cooking and doing all kinds of crafts.
